Why a De-Shedding Treatment Beats Brushing at Home

Brushing only gets the top

A home brush pulls the loose hair near the surface. The undercoat that fuels the shedding sits deeper, and a brush on a dry coat cannot reach most of it.

What the treatment does

Our de-shed is a full bath plus an extra brush and blow-out. The wash loosens the dead undercoat, the high-velocity dryer lifts it out, and the brush clears what is left. Starts at $35.

What you get back

Less hair on the couch for weeks, a coat that lies flat, and a dog that is cooler through a Houston summer. Most double-coated dogs do this a few times a year.
